This site is the official home base of Alan MacGregor, and it’s where everything I do is going to live and grow:

WHO AM I? (THE SHORT VERSION)
I’m Alan MacGregor.
I’m the Director of the Australian Patriots Party, and I’m also a trade-qualified bricklayer and carpenter. In other words, I’m one of those rare Aussies who can both argue about the future of the country AND actually build something solid enough to survive it.
And I’m the father of 7 amazing young adults, which means I’ve had a front-row seat to the real Australia for decades, not the imaginary one that exists inside government press conferences and corporate advertising departments.
So yes, I’m outspoken.
Yes, I’m creative.
Yes, I’m serious.
And yes, I’ve also lived enough life to know when people are being sold nonsense.
Over the years I’ve created content under a few different banners depending on what planet the internet was living on that week:

A single hub.
A single identity.
A single location where my content doesn’t get shoved into the algorithmic basement for not speaking in corporate nursery rhymes.
WHY THIS WEBSITE EXISTS (AKA: WHY I STOPPED RELYING ON SOCIAL MEDIA)
Let’s be honest: social media is brilliant… and also completely cooked.
One day you’re posting something meaningful and the world says:
“Wow, great point.”
The next day you post the same thing and the world says:
“Your post has been hidden for suspicious levels of independent thought.”
So this website exists for one reason:
Freedom to publish.
Freedom to create.
Freedom to archive my work properly.
Freedom to build something that doesn’t vanish because an intern at a tech company had a mood swing.
I’ll still post on Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms.
But this is the main base now.
The mothership.
The fortress.
The “if the internet collapses, at least the blog still stands” zone.
THE MUSIC (YES, I DO THAT TOO)
A lot of people first meet me through the political or media side, then get surprised when they hear the music.
Because music is where the emotional truth lives.
And sometimes it says more than a rant ever could.

Perth Proclaimer is where I do what I’d call independent community journalism, but with personality intact.
It’s not the “press release rewriting club.”
It’s not the “politely ignore the obvious” association.
It’s local commentary, cultural observation, satire when needed, serious writing when it matters, and the kind of honesty people are starving for.
Perth Proclaimer isn’t just content.
It’s a community signal.
A reminder that ordinary Australians are still here… still thinking… still watching… and still laughing while we do it.

I’m not a “shout slogans at strangers” political person.
I’m a “use your eyes, use your brain, stop pretending nonsense is normal” person.
As Director of the Australian Patriots Party, I’m focused on putting Australia and Australians first, and making sure the culture, values, safety, identity, and future of this country doesn’t get traded away quietly while people are distracted.
I believe in:
Australian culture and identity
Freedom of speech
Personal responsibility
Community-first thinking
Honest media
Practical solutions over ideological theatre
And not letting society get turned into a weird corporate daycare centre
You don’t have to agree with everything I say.
But you’ll never wonder what I mean.
And if you do agree… you’ll probably laugh while nodding, which is the best kind of agreement.
